Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates is a modification of traditional Pilates developed by Physiotherapy in keeping with modern research findings. The emphasis is on controlling deep stabilising muscles of the trunk which support the spine, thereby reducing posture pain and improving efficiency of movement. Our classes are gentler and slower than those in most gyms.

Our Physiotherapist can help you find the correct level that your body should be working at. You may need to start with an ultra sound scan to find out if you are working your core muscles. There is then the option of individual Pilates (charged at the same rate as Physiotherapy) or Pilates courses of 6-7 people (six week course £66). We ask that all patients are assessed before entering a class. Class times vary as to need and we ask that you contact the clinic for details.

We have extensive knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and treating common and not so common conditions.
